  3. IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTES ABOUT A BRIEF HISTORY OF TIME:

Please make sure that you install the files (as appropriate for your System) found in the "Put into System Folder" folder if you do not already have them installed in your System.  You can easily do this by selecting the contents of the folder, then dragging them over the icon of your closed System Folder.  You will be prompted to allow the files to be copied into various sub-folders.  Click OK and then restart your Macintosh to activate the new System extensions.

  7. You can improve performance of A Brief History of Time by disabling file sharing (using the Sharing Setup control panel) and enabling the faster speed settings on your double-, triple-, or quad-speed CD-ROM drive.
